Melting section: In the molten section of the glass furnace, where the temperature is very high, high-alumina refractory bricks (usually containing high-alumina alumina) or fused magnesia bricks are usually used. These refractory bricks have excellent high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance and can withstand the high temperature melting of glass.

Chimney and exhaust duct: Chimneys and exhaust ducts need to use high-temperature resistant refractory bricks to prevent smoke from eroding the bricks. Aluminosilicate refractory bricks are commonly used in these areas.
